Early Orthodontics
Early orthodontic treatment, often referred to as Phase 1 or interceptive orthodontics, involves addressing dental and jaw development issues in children before all permanent teeth have erupted. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children have an evaluation appointment with a qualified orthodontist no later than age seven. By starting treatment early, we can take advantage of your child’s natural growth, making corrections easier and more efficient. This proactive approach can save your child from more intensive treatments later in life, leading to a healthier, more beautiful smile.
