My two VERY timid girls did NOT cry AND it was their very first dental visit! The staff were extremely kind and patient. It also helped that they were all female. Dr. Mulcahey thoroughly explained everything, gave us options, and gave us informed consent with future procedures. Definitely found our pediatric dentist.

My son had a wonderful experience. He is autistic and the staff and doctor were very accommodating to his sensory issues. My son is 10 years old and is going through the second phase of losing his baby teeth. He got laughing gas and then some local anesthetic. He had 2 tooth extractions and his first ever cavity filled. It went amazingly well as this was all new to my son. He even got x-rays done, which he was never able to do in the past due to his sensory issues. It was overall a very smooth and great visit.
We had such a wonderful experience here! Dr. Kim is so thoughtful and gentle with children, and she helped us with a crown that was originally done in another country. She explained the situation clearly, discussed the next treatment steps, and made us feel very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly, patient, and amazing with kids. Scheduling and paperwork were handled quickly and neatly, and the clinic environment is clean, welcoming, and stress-free. I’m truly grateful we found this place. Highly recommended for any parents seeking excellent pediatric dental care!
My three boys had their first visits as new patients. We were immediately greeted warmly by all the staff at the front desk and in the back stations. Dr. Kim and the technicians were all genuinely sweet with my boys. One thing I want to highlight was how kind Dr. Kim and her staff were. After becoming recently unemployed, our insurance was set to expire in 3 days. After x-rays, we discovered that one of my boys needed treatment, but there were no openings for a follow up appointment within the three days time. Dr. Kim and one of the technicians stayed during their lunch hour to squeeze in a treatment for my boy, and then opened up a time, the day after, to finish that treatment before my dental insurance expired. I want to thank the whole office and Dr. Kim for making that happen, thank you so much!

I had an amazing experience at this orthodontics office! The entire team was so friendly, helpful, and professional from start to finish. The office was always clean and welcoming, and scheduling appointments was super easy. Every visit went smoothly, and I always felt well taken care of. This was my first time and immediately upon stepping into the waiting area of the front office I was impressed with the kid friendly and clean decor. They had a variety of things to engage children as they waited. The office staff was friendly and kind and even displayed my son’s name on a welcome sign as it was his first visit. Dr. Kim and our dental hygienist (I wish I knew her name!) were so caring and gentle and took time to explain and walk my 6yr old through everything they did. The layout inside was very spacious and I liked how they had chairs for parents to sit right in front of the children during the cleaning. My son had no problems during exam, cleaning and X-rays and received a reward and a nice take-home package of dental care items. I was thoroughly impressed with everything and highly recommend Valencia Smiles to any family with children.

This was my son’s first trip to the dentist. They made it so special. From welcoming him on a board before we arrived to knowing his favorite character and having that in the room waiting for him. They allowed both my husband and I and our youngest to tag along. The Dr. was amazing! She wanted to leave him with a positive experience to encourage his next visit and I honestly could not appreciate that. We don’t push our son and allow him to express his feelings. He was through the roof with joy. She even allowed him to stay in my arms while exploring his mouth. The doctor and all of the staff truly care about their craft and went above and beyond. Thank you! The team at Valencia Smiles is friendly, professional, and kind. Despite showing up early for our appointment, they saw us us. Everyone on the staff made my three kids feel welcome and comfortable. We just moved to the area and decided to try out Valencia Smiles for our daughters. We are very glad we did! Elaine is amazing – she was kind and loving with our kids. She also does a wonderful job of making young kids feel comfortable. My kids are 3 and 5, and they both loved her! Dr. Kim is also wonderful and my kids loved her. Even the front desk is very nice when you come in! It was very refreshing and we will be sticking with this practice for our kids!
The absolute best dental place for children starting from very young age all the way up. You won’t need to go anywhere else. They are caring, kind, professional, thoughtful. You’ll never find another team like that.

My twin boys have come here since they were 2 years old and we couldn’t dream of a better place to take them for teeth cleaning. The staff is very friendly, they have great accommodations for the kids with televisions on the ceiling to keep them entertained, and the business is run by ethical doctors. Highly recommended.

I have been bringing all my kids since we moved to Valencia 3 years ago. And yesterday was my 2 years olds first cleaning. They’re truly amazing with kids! They show each instrument and how it works so they’re not scared or caught off guard as to what they do. Extremely patient as well! Since my little girl is a squirmer. Everyone, and i mean everyone in that office are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. My one year old is ready for her first check up and can’t wait to bring her. I wouldn’t want to take them anywhere else. My kids ages range from 13-1years old. They all enjoy going, what kid enjoys the dentist? That speaks volumes as to how they treat their little patients. Don’t hesitate to bring your kids if you’re looking for a practice that cares about you.
This place was actually a recommendation from a neighbor who also has two young children. I brought my kids here for the first time for cleanings. Both kids had a fun and a relaxing experience. The front desk and back office staff were friendly and showed care towards me and the girls. The doctor was thorough and friendly and took the time to explain any concerns she had about possible sealants, and answered any questions that I had. I would recommended this place to my family and friends.
I am very impressed with Dr. Kim & her staff. The lobby area is set up very nicely for kids to be relaxed while waiting. This was my autistic child’s first visit, and they made her feel very comfortable. The dental assistants worked great together to get x-rays done. Dr. Kim did an excellent job cleaning her teeth. She provided great recommendations for future dental care. Front office desk ladies were very professional, kind, & courteous. Keep up the great work Valencia Smiles!
My son had an accident and fell with his face breaking the fall. He ended up with a busted lip and a tooth that was painful and a little loose. I called the office and the staff was incredibly helpful. Debbie and Alexa both got us in quickly and verified our insurance was participating with the provider’s office. This was my son’s first dentist appointment. Dr. Mulcahey was so patient in explaining everything to my 2 year old. My son was so nervous, which was very clear in his body language, and she spoke to him about his worries and took time to explain what she would be doing, and showed him all of the tools she would be using. The Doctor’s assistant, Elaine, was equally as incredible. She was friendly and informative, patient and kind. The overall experience was incredible. I will definitely recommend this office to anyone with children as the office’s helpful, kind, and understanding approach was so comforting in a time of uncertainty.

The entire staff is courteous and professional! The office is designed for kids to enjoy with a huge fish tank in the waiting area and books and toys to look at. We have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting area and have been greeted with a smile from every staff member. I highly recommend this office for any of your dental or orthodontic needs!!
What a great experience!! The team was incredibly supportive and patient with my 2 terrified kids. We had a traumatic experience with a different dental office but the team at Valencia Smiles Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry were great! We will continue our dental journey here!

My children have gone here for 16 years! When my son was little he chipped his front tooth, and Dr. Kim did such a flawless job repairing it no one could ever tell. My daughter is almost done with her Invisalign®. Her teeth are so beautiful; I highly recommend this place.

Hands down the best dental experience I have ever witnessed. I want to be a patient but unfortunately, I’m an adult. The office is wonderfully designed and clean, the staff is incredibly competent and kind and Dr. Kim was excellent-skilled, friendly, and warm. Our hygienist was so great with my daughter (I wish I remembered her name!). They comforted her through the hard parts and explained as they went along. This is our forever dental office.
Best children dental office with the best dentists, and wonderful friendly and gentle staff. Very clean and professional. My older daughter was a patient since childhood dental and for ortho (braces). Now my other daughter (13 years old) has been patient since age of 3 . I can go on about this office. They treat you like family and most importantly are gentle, patient and caring with children. That was very important to me, as well as their expertise. I was so happy with my experience at Valencia Children’s Dental. My 4 year old daughter was a little nervous, not knowing what to expect, and they quickly put her at ease and showered her with lots of glittery items to make her happy and keep her distracted. The staff was incredibly friendly. They have a great waiting room, filled with toys and even a variety of Keurig options for Mommy and Daddy. We’ll be using them for years.
We have been going to Valencia Children’s Dental for a few years and have always found them to be extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Every person in the office works toward the same goal of truly caring for patients. Even with my child who was extremely anxious about a small cavity that needed to be filled, Dr. Mulcahey and her staff were patient, caring and gentle with him while they worked on him. We have been coming here for several years and love it! The office is always clean and the staff always very friendly. As a healthcare provider myself, I appreciate how they tailor the visit to my daughter, ending each visit with a written care plan to take home. The office is focused toward kids from TVs on the ceilings to distract during cleaning, to the decor, all the way to the way they talk to the kids- calling them ‘sugar bugs’ instead of ‘plaque’. Overall this is a great environment to help kids enjoy oral hygiene instead of fear it! I throughly recommend Valencia Children’s Dental!!!
Valencia Children’s Dental group has been so great to my son, now 8 years old. He has been going to Valencia Children’s Dental since he was 2 years old. This dentist is actually out of network for my insurance but I would not trade it for any other!!! They staff is wonderful, always friendly, polite, patient, and accommodating!!! They offer a no cavity raffle as a motivation to keep the kids interested in their oral hygienes. My son actually won once and got a gift card to toys r us, and his picture up for a year which my son LOVED! I am excited to start taking my other son who will be 2 in October. Dr. Kim and Dr. Mulcahey are GREAT!! I’ve recommended this dentist to many and I will continue to do so!
It was my daughters 1st dentist appointment and it went better than ok. They really go above and beyond to make the children feel comfortable. My daughter went in there scared and came out extremely happy. The staff there is also so nice and carying. Highly recommend this place.

Love, love everyone here!!! Everyone is friendly and professional and we feel welcome the second we walk through the door. Dr. Mulcahey and her team always makes the kids feel comfortable and safe. My boys love them. I love the fact that Dr. Mulcahey is also an Orthodontic. You get the best of both worlds in one place! Two of my boy’s have had braces and we’ve had a couple emergencies. The staff was wonderful, they worked with me for a payment plan I could afford. I highly recommend Valencia Children’s Group!

We have found the best dentists and orthodontist in Valencia! From Dana and the front desk staff to the dental hygienists to the doctors, they are amazing! I can always get our daughters appointments at a time that works for their school schedules. I even called this morning to see if we could come a bit later than our scheduled appointment and they made it work!! Honestly can’t say enough great things about them. Oh and the brushing station is always the first thing my girls do when they walk in the door!!!
Just took our 5 year old granddaughter for her first check up. She’s was quite nervous to go. After her visit I asked how her visit was and she enthusiastically said “Awesome!!!” Here’s her review: The best thing about the dentist was the X-rays – it was very comfortable and they gave me a princess pillow. They were also very careful. I liked the fish tank and the play area. Dr. Mulcahey was very nice, sweet and perfect for me! Don’t think she’ll ever be worried about going to the dentist again!
I have been taking my children here since 2000/01 and it is always a pleasure to go. My son, when he was 5, had a big procedure done and it was a breeze. Now 10 years later his teeth are in great shape thanks to their care. My daughter is getting great care as well. We just recently went in for her cleaning and is cavity free. Its always a pleasant experience. The dentists, hygienists and the ladies at the front are all very friendly.

I was in a bind and needed to have my son seen as soon as possible, when I called Valencia Children’s Dental Group they were very understanding and accommodating and were able to get my son in the same day. And once we got in, Dr. Kim made him feel comfortable and treated him like royalty. I have referred many people to Valencia Children’s Dental Group, all of them have been very happy with their service and my family will continue to go see Dr. Kim and Dr. Mulcahey.
