Dr. Rose Kim attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University. She completed general dental residency and certification at Veterans Administration Hospital in Sepulveda, California and her pediatric dental residency and certification at the University of California Los Angeles where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Kim has been a dentist for over 30 years and loves working with children. Her favorite part of her job is the relationships formed with families and making a positive difference in improving a patient’s oral health care. Dr. Kim feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of dentistry. To keep up with the most current procedures and technology, she maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, the San Fernando Valley Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Rose Kim volunteers with the Santa Clarita Children’s Health Foundation in her spare time.
Born in Seoul, Korea, Dr. Rose Kim moved to the US when she was five years old. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Kim likes the Valencia area because it is a family-oriented community with access to many parks and trails for sports and hikes and pride of ownership in the surrounding neighborhoods.
Dr. Rose Kim has been married for over 30 years and has three adult children and a yellow lab. Both her husband and older brother are also dentists. Dr. Kim loves to cook and travel and spend time with her family and friends. She loves action and suspenseful movies and books and is a big fan of pilates and yoga. Dr. Kim has developed a new interest in gardening. She is also a big UCLA Bruin fan.
